Our Honey Bees
Beekeeping adds to our homestead and lifestyle. When we have a surplus of honey we have it in stock in our farm store. In addition to the honey our bees produce beeswax which we use on our beeswax wraps.
Pastured Birds
We have a coop full of beautiful chickens. During the warmer months our chickens lay eggs and we occasionally offer day-old chicks for sale at the farm.
The Dairy Goats
We have a cute flock of 5 doe goats, often with a few kids at their sides. When possible we milk them in order to provide milk and cheese for our family. We also use the milk to make our soaps and shampoo bars.
Our little family, minus a bunch of farm critters
How it all started
Our vision started small but has grown ten-fold. Back in 2013, we were expecting our first child and wanted a more affordable way to feed our little family high-quality meat and eggs.
As a result, on only two acres, we purchased our first ewe sheep, two lambs and 6 laying hens. 7 years later we expanded to a larger homestead with 20 plus breeding ewes, 50 laying hens, 2 beehives and our dairy goats.
After temporarily stepping back from sheep farming and closing the on-farm store we began renting out our store space as The Studio on Airbnb and hosting on-farm workshops.
Our desire is to grow as farmers, producers and neighbours to help serve our community better. And even though we are a small, family-run farm, we work hard to grow, raise and cultivate top-of-the-line products and experiences for you and your family
